Smit plastic has
60 years worth of knowhow concerning all aspects of technical injection
moulding, with high accuracy and a very sharply defined tolerance. Smit
plastic is specialized in high-quality technical plastic injection
moulding, in large (millions) as well as small (starting from 1000
pieces) series. Apart from this, Smit plastic is known for its
careful monitoring of the customer trajectory. The entire trajectory is
walked through with the client from the first concept design till the
last quality examination. Our R&D department continually searches
for improvement and innovation. This does not limit itself to
production alone, but also design, logistics, stockpile management and
flexibility are attention points which are constantly adjusted and
improved under the influence of the latest technologies.
Our machinery contains 35 of the most modern
machines including some electrical machines, the machine range is from
25 to 1300 ton. Because of this wide spectrum of machines, it is
possible to create products from 1 to 7500 grams shot weight.
The well carried out production automation
includes pickers, robots, sorting actuators and automatic material
feeds. Through a closed pipe system, the desired building materials are
sent to the correct machine. Whether it is 25 kilos or 1000 tons, we
can do it.
Because of our own technical department
which is available on-site 24/7, we can guarantee an undisrupted
production and a firm delivery time. Because of pro-active monitoring,
malfunctions can be noticed before they get a chance to disturb the
production process. The readjustment of machines can also be done very
quickly under our own monitoring, so that last minute adjustments
barely have any influences on the delivery processes and the delivery
times which have been agreed upon. Delivery reliability is one of the
Smit plastic’s vanguards.
Our robotized product control is new and it delivers a zero production fallout ratio. Currently, well-thought-out automation concerning the machine is essential for efficient production.
